The Outstanding Volunteer Service Award is designed to recognize an outstanding individual or group that demonstrates exemplary service to our communities. We are fortunate to have hardworking volunteers and this award aims to recognize those who have given unselfishly of themselves in service to others.
Anyone may nominate an individual or group (youth and/or adult) for the Outstanding Volunteer Service Award. To qualify for this recognition award, the nominee must be a Hooper/Scribner/Uehling area resident, former area resident or area group (or located within the area of these communities) and should display or meet two of the following criteria:
♦ Strive to make a positive impact in the community
♦ Enhance these towns and the lives of its citizens
♦ Address or fulfill a community need or concern
The deadline to submit your nomination and/or supporting documents for recognition is March 1, 2018.
Please feel free to send examples of the nominee’s work (e.g.: videos, photographs, articles, documents, etc.). Note that all application material will remain the property of the host of the event, the Faith Ambassadors Lutheran Parish Hospitality Task Force, and; will not be returned. The Task Force will review all applications and make FIVE (5) final selections by March 15, 2018. The recipients will be announced and honored at the 1st annual community “Homecoming” event on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Scribner Mohr Auditorium.
